Dear Michael:

I remember reading an article about Dual Thrust several years ago referencing a dentist who started with a small account and turned it into xxx dollars just 42 months later using the principles of your system. Needless to say, I was very intrigued at that time. When I called you up to inquire how the dentist did this, it took you only a couple of minutes to explain it to me. If you remember, I said "count me in".

Several months later, we met in Florida for lunch and I just knew my life was ready to change for the better. That was 3 years ago and now I've retired and have literally built a financial fortress around my family. Now I am in the process of building a few companies for fun as I enjoy working, but I must admit, it's a lot more fun when you don't have to worry about money.

Please keep me informed of your new development involving the S&P day trading system.

Sincerely,
Courtney K. Hill

Andrew Nasser (California)

I am a structural engineer and businessman living in California with my wife Martha. We have 4 grown daughters and three grandchildren. My investment experience over the last 35 years has been quite broad. A year ago I decided to look into ways to hedge against the value of my stock holdings in a market that seemed due for a correction, but continued to rise. Mike's method is better than a simple hedge against down markets because it offers a year round profit potential that is exceeding that of my larger stock portfolio.

Before I entered Mike Chalek's "Dual Thrust" method, I reviewed his charts of a 10 year performance and spoke to a third party with a two year experience. This seemed to validate the results subject to actual costs. The method is trade intensive and in my case required a very experienced discount broker by the name of Carl Persson who served the added value of mapping a conservative entry $ size and escalation strategy, to control my greed.

The frequency of trades, 2 or 3 times a week, provides ample evidence of the built, self protective, "stop and switch" concept.

Eric Morgeson (Michigan)

Dear Michael:

I'm a small trader who's been trading for about 5 years. I spend about an hour a day tracking my positions and systems. I also have experience with and own about 9 or 10 systems from other vendors. I've done pretty well trading over the past 3 years.

I bought your fax service to see if Dual Thrust could continue this outstanding performance and justify me purchasing it. It is expensive for a small trader like myself.

On June 18, 1998 I ordered your fax service. Now I'm wondering if I'm really lucky and just stumbled into the market at the absolute best time, or if Dual Thrust is really that good.

I have since bought the system from profit generated and will continue to trade the two contract portfolio you recommended. I'll also keep you updated on my experience with this system.

Thanks for a great methodology. I'll keep you informed.

Gerhard Guhl (Santa Barbara CA)

Dear Michael:

Thank you for your invitation to be part of your website update. I am very excited to be a subscriber of your Dual Thrust trading system since December of last year. The results so far have been beyond my expectations. The account has grown by xxx% in only x months. When I met you in September 1997 at Futures West Conference, I had already decided to change from trading futures by hotlines to a systematic approach.

The decision to trade your Dual Thrust system was based on the following points: excellent track record, professional advice, no hype, no pressure sales talk and good references. My experience with your system is very positive which might be best expressed by saying "I Trust the Thrust".

I am looking forward to your daily faxes every evening. The faxes are my daily highlights. It is exciting to see how money is made in the market on the way up and on the way down. What a great system.

I plan to meet you again in September at the Futures West Conference in Burbank and I am more than happy to provide you with more details about my trading account. Until then, Good health and success.

Dick Diamond (Florida)

The Dual Thrust trading system is, in my opinion, an excellent system to use when a trend is in force. I use the New York Composite signals generated by Dual Thrust when the market is having an impulsive move in either direction. If, however, the market is in a quiet trading range, Dual Thrust signals should be ignored.

1. I am a member of the American Stock Exchange from 1960-1975.
2. I have traded for aliving since 1965.
3. I gave trading seminars in 1986, 1987, and 1988 and have spoken on trading to numerous technical groups - Computrac and Market Technicians Association.

Peter Palmer (Ontario Canada)

I am a 57-year old pharmacist who has lived and worked in and around the town of Midland, Ontario since 1973. I graduated from the University of Toronto School of Paharmacy in 1963 and after working for 3 years, I decide to return to school where I acquired my M.B.A. in 1968 from the University of Western Ontario. The business degree and the exposure to the greater world of economics and corporate finance was, no doubt, the stimulus which ultimately led me to futures trading some three and a half years ago.

When first contemplating my retirement from pharmacy about 5 years ago, I knew that my meager savings would require a substantial boost from a consistent investment program, so I subscribed to a futures trading course in the hope that it might provide the answer to my dilemma.

My initial foray into actual trading was less than successful, as is usually the case it seems with novice traders, so I started to look at futures trading programs. I chose one and with the advice and assistance of Carl Persson of One World Capital management in Charlotte, N.C., my fortunes took a definite turn for the better, so much so that I decided to retire just over a year ago and trust my trading programs to generate the bulk of my cash flow requirements.

My wife and I spend our winters in Mexico and our summers here in Ontario where I am an advid golfer, gardener and general lover of "doing my own thing".

Futures trading is certainly not for the weak of heart or the no-risk taker! I have gone through some ups and downs, even with the trading programs, and suffered some nights of less than peaceful sleep as drawdowns depleted my account value.

However, to be able to continue my standard and mode of living, I realized that I have no other revenue avenue with the near immediate potential of the futures trade.

So about 10 months ago, while pondering the addition of another trading program, Carl recommended Dual Thrust. I started slowly, just trading the T-Bond and the Nasdaq 100, but was so impressed with the results, that I added the NYFE and the Yen since May of this year and have continued to watch my account increase in value.

At the moment, I am pondering adding Coffee to the mix or simply increasing the number of contracts traded in the NYFE and Nasdaq! The most difficult aspect of futures trading is accepting the losing trades along with the winners, and realizing that, ineviatbly, a period of drawdows will eventually be followed by a period of successes and that the gains will outnumber the losses.

In this current market environment of extreme volatility, I feel pretty confident thatthe programs I am trading, and particularly, the Dual Thrust program, will continue to contribute to my net worth.

Thanks Mike, for the system and for your willingness to answer questions and discuss aspects of Dual Thrust.

Yves Thebault (Poole United Kingdom)

Dear Mike:

Thanks for your Dual Thrust System which I received very quickly by E-mail. It was up and running yesterday in my computer and set on a 90 minute bar chart with the FTSE futures.

It already made x,000 pounds in this short time and I am quite impressed. In fact the overall performance report on this market intra-day since shows a profit of xx,000 pounds!!!

My question now is about the manuals to come with the system and if you already mailed them to me so I can understand better what I am doing. Please let me know by fax or other way what is the situation.

Christopher Harris (Zurich Switzerland)

Dear Mr. Chalek:

Mr. Heer has been subscribing to the MarketView system for a number of months now, and is quite pleased with both the system's outright performance and the contribution it makes volatility wise to this portfolio when interacting with other systems we employ.

We have noted with interest the recent addition of new contracts to this system, such as the NYFE, Ten Year Notes and the Nasdaq 100. We are very pleased to see that you are continuing to conduct research with this system, and are passing these signals on to your clients.

Though one shouldn't always "follow the crowd", like many others we believe large moves (one way or another) lay ahead of us in financial and stock index markets. With that expectation, we are casting around for a measured way to increase our exposure to these markets, with emphasis on stock indexes. Our question, then, is whether you have considered applying your system to other stock index contracts such as the German DAX, French CAC-40, British FTSE, etc.

At your convenience, could you fax or e-mail your thoughts on the possiblity of adding these contracts? Thank you in advance for your time.

Girish Wadhwani (London England) September 24, 1998

Dear Mike,

I wish to congratulate you that your Dual Thrust program is very robust and takes into account the volatility well. Since the last three weeks when the markets were nose diving and again so erratic, I observed that it was producing very good signals and protected the gains or losses on the current positions.

I feel that the program that you have is a masterpiece but like a superbly produced car it needs an able driver (the parameters). Once one can have well analysed parameters, it can work wonders. If you analyse any other futures markets which I can use on Dual Thrust please let me know. I am looking to add more markets on my trading schedule.

At the moment I only do Swiss Fr, Yen, Tbond, TNote, Coffee, S&P, NYFE, Nasdaq and 4 from the European service (on a test basis). If you have any other new program or software for an individual trader please let me know.

With best regards,

Girish

Mathew Kaleel (Sydney, Australia)

Dear Mike,

Having traded futures full-time for approximately five years, my brother and I have had the pleasure (and pain!) of trading markets in Australia, Asia, Europe and the US. During this time, we have developed, tested, purchased and TRADED many different systems; intra-day, short term, breakout, pattern recognition, trend following, long term, and pretty much every other way to look at a simple chart and market.

To actually make a living as a futures trader, requires, more than anything else, a trading style which suits the psychology of the trader. Whilst longer term systems do make money in the market place, having a drawdown period of sometime up to six months does not pay the phone bills or feed the kids.

I think we are qualified to give an opinion as to the suitability of a system as our sole source of income comes from trading. I'm not sure if there is a cute quote which sums up what I am saying, but the simple way to measure a system is to ACTUALLY trade it and see if it ACTUALLY makes money. Theoretical results mean very little to us as they AREN'T REAL. We have looked at and purchase quite a few systems that look great and feel great and even make money intitially, but eventually, the curve fitting and weakness of most systems shows through. The Dual Thrust is not one of these. I'm writing this testimonial as the system ACTUALLY makes money.

We have been actively trading the Dual Thrust system in markets in Asia, Europe, Australia and the US for approximately xx months, and during this time have made just shy of $USxxx,000. A system is robust if it can make money in Asian equities, European bonds and US commodities, which are the places where we have made our money. One of the greatest assets of the systems is that it will make money on the majority of big moves that take place on any market that is being traded, and these very rare big trades are the trades that really matter after all. Combining your system with our own systems has produced a trading portfolio which is works across the vast majority of markets that we trade, and we are very happy to support the system as one of the systems being sold in the market place that ACTUALLY work.

Thanks Mike for the system; we have recouped the purchase price a couple of hundred times over; all the best mate, and if anyone Down Under needs to speak to someone about the system, tell them to give us a buzz.

Regards,

Mathew Kaleel Sydney, Australia
